Established by Decision 1450/QD - TTg on August 19, 2014, by the Prime Minister, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy stands as a beacon of excellence in healthcare education. Transitioning from Buon Ma Thuot University to Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2022 marks a significant stride towards cultivating high-caliber medical professionals. Located at 298 Ha Huy Tap, Tan An ward, Buon Ma Thuot city, our institution enjoys a strategic location, facilitating seamless learning and skill development for students across the Central Highlands region.
Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy is dedicated to the specialized training of healthcare professionals. As the first institute in the Central Highlands region to adopt the combined Institute-School training model, we integrate research, education, diagnosis, and treatment, enriching both academic and practical dimensions. Our commitment extends to enhancing medical examination, treatment, and patient care at Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital.
Expanding Horizons in Education
Initially focusing on Medicine (Doctor) and Pharmacy (University Pharmacist) programs, our institution has broadened its academic spectrum since 2020. Today, we offer comprehensive training in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing (Nurses), and Public Health (Medical Specialists). Moreover, we facilitate admissions and additional training for university transfers, catering to individuals with Intermediate or College degrees in Medicine and Pharmacy. In response to diverse learning needs, we will commence enrollment for Specialized Level I training from 2023 onwards.
